· Großarl
Snowshoe hiking tour to the Karseggalm in Grossarl.
moderate
Distance 5.9 km
From the parking possibility at the start to the Breitenebenalm, you go uphill along the forestry road or along the short cuts through the forest to the Breitenebenalm (closed in winter). Shortly before the Breitenebenalm you pass a game reserve. The route continues partly through the forest, partly along meadows to the Karseggalm (closed in winter). On the Karseggalm you can enjoy the wonderful winter landscape. Back on the same way.
After the tour, the Großarler Genuss is a place where you can take a break and stop by.
Author’s recommendation
If you are lucky, you can see some deers in the game reserve.
