Grossarl: Filzmoosalm-Loosbühel
From the parking space Grund or from Klausbauer you hike to the Filzmoosalm, which is closed in winter. The Filzmoosalm area is located in an untouched natural landscape. The wide alpine pastures and meadows are limited on the one hand by grassy mountains and on the other by the rugged limestones of the Draugstein and the Großer Schneibenstein.
From the Filzmoosalm you hike up the south-western slopes to the Loosbühel - ascent is almost an hour. From here you have a wonderful view to the surrounding mountains.
Downwards you go on alpine meadows through the (deep) snow to the Loosbühelalm (in winter season, consider the opening times). From the Loosbühelalm, you follow the trail downwards through the forest.
