Grossarl: Achenpromenade
From the village center in Grossarl, you walk quite comfortably upstream along the river. Just after you have crossed the footbridge, you will see an old mill. You continue along the river and pass several houses and the Gruber carpentry as well as the building of the Kaiserbau. Afterwards, the path leads again along the river until the Gasthof Neumayr (closed).
For your way back, you have the possibility to walk along the main road. After about 1 km you see the Laireiting Chapel on the right hand-side. The chapel was built in 1860 by the Linsinger family. It belongs to the Chapel Path.
As there are no steep sections along the entire route, the Achenpromenade is also suitable for children's carriages and wheelchairs.
