Hüttschlag: Klingspitz
Beautiful mountain tour to the Klingspitz. Surefootedness is required.
The starting point of this round trip is the Hallmoosalm in Hüttschlag. After a short distance along the forestry road, you turn off and follow the path to the Karteisalm (closed). Just before you reach the Karteisalm, there is an idyllic fountain - the water within the valley has drinking water quality.
You walk via alpine meadows (especially beautiful in the early summer) to the Karteistörl. From there, you have a wonderful view to the Tappenkarsee, the largest mountain lake in the Alps.
You hike along the path through the Tappenkar to the Klingspitz. Surefootedness is required and you must be free of dizziness. From the Klingspitz you have a picturesque view to the surrounding mountains.
For experienced hikers there is a nice round tour, however this is not sign-posted. Surefootedness is required and you have to be free of dizziness. You walk along the ridge to the Hierzeck, 2,069 m and then on the sign-posted path no. 52B to the Glettenalm, 1,760 m. Descent along the path no. 52 via the Ragglalm to Hüttschlag/Karteis to the Hallmoosalm, the starting point of the tour.
