Hüttschlag: Karteisalm - Kreuzeck - Glettnalm
The starting point of this round trip is the Hallmoosalm in Hüttschlag. After a short distance along the forestry road, you turn off and follow the path to the Karteisalm (closed). Just before you reach the Karteisalm, there is an idyllic fountain - the water within the valley has drinking water quality.
You walk via alpine meadows (especially beautiful in the early summer) to the Karteistörl. From here, you have a wonderful view to the Lake Tappenkar, the largest mountain lake in the Alps.
You hike along a gorgeous ridge to the Kreuzeck and descent over the Glettnalm area to the Glettnalm. Just before the mountain hut, there is a cross and a chapel.
You eat self-made delicacies on the Glettnalm. The descent is either via the forestry path or along the shortcuts to the Ragglalm (closed) back to the Hallmoosalm, the starting point of this tour.
