You hike from the Sonneggbrücke along the forestry road or the shortcuts through the forest to the Breitenebenalm. Just before you reach the Breitenebenalm, there is a game reserve.
The Breitenebenalm is particularly popular for its sweets. You can enjoy them on the huge terrace. There is a playground for the children.
Then you hike up to the Karseggalm. The Karseggalm is probably one of the most rustic huts in the whole Alpine area and with its 400 years it is one of the oldest. You can enjoy self-made delicacies up there. Here you get spoiled with self-made delicacies like bread, butter, cheese, bacon or schnapps.
You ascend via the Oberwandalm and the Promaualm (both closed) to the Penkkopf and further to the Gründegg. From both summits you have a picturesque view to the surrounding mountains.
You reach the Trögseen during you descent from the Gründegg. The Trögseen are small, but very beautiful mountain lakes.
You hike further via alpine meadows to the Spatalm and to the Kleinwildalm (both closed). Finally, you reach the Grosswildalm. Here you can taste delicacies from their own production.
You hike down to the Breitenebenalm and further to the starting point of the tour.
