You can reach the Bichlalm on several possibilities: The easiest start is in the Ellmautal above the Hotel Lammwirt. There you hike along the forestry road through the forest. Another option is from the Finsterwald farm on the "Himmelsleiter" to the Bichlalm. The name is program for this path - you hike to heaven relatively fast, this means the Himmelsleiter is a steep hiking path. Just at the point where you come to the forestry road, you have to stop for a while. The panorama is picturesque.

You contine on the forestry road to the Bichlalm. Here you can taste local, self-made delicacies. Enjoy the panorama up there.

Above the Bichlalm there is a cross.

You continue upwards along a beautiful hiking trail to the Remsteinkopf. For the last meters to the cross, you have to be free have dizziness.

The view from here is simply unique. Especially the autumn you can perhaps also see deers. Back on the same route.

Author’s recommendation

Just some meters away from the Bichlalm, there are some benches where you can linger in the beautiful landscape.
