Great round trip where you go up by the cable cars.
You go up by the cable cars to the Panoramaplateau (mountain station of the cable cars). You have immediately the possibility to take a break at the Laireiteralm. You hike up quite comfortably along the road to the Kreuzkogel, which is in winter the ski-mountain in Grossarl Valley.
On the Kreuzkogel you have a real peak-experience although you just have to go about 3/4 h up there. And the view to the mountains in the surroundings is marvellous.
Then you hike down to the Harbachhütte and the Gehwolf Alm. On both huts you can taste regional delicacies.
For your descent you have the choice: Either you hike up to the mountain station or you hike down to the middle station of the cable cars.
You can hike to the "Spiegelsee" (about 1/2 h in 1 direction from the Kreuzkogel). This is a mountain lake where you can try some paths which you use without your shoes.
You shouldn't be afraid of heights because you go up by the cable cars.
