Grossarl: Viehhausalm
At the Sendeanlage Holzlehen is the "Himmelsknoten". This is a monument of the Guilde Scouts who have kept their forum for over 40 years in Grossarl. A forest trail leads to the Mooslehenalm. Here you have to decide whether you hike along the forestry road or along the hiking path the Viehhausalm.
From here you have a wonderful view into the Grossarltal. The people up here spoil all hungry hikers with self-made delicacies. Fhe children will have fun. In particular, the "Gamsbock swing" and the climbing tree are very popular with children. The descent takes place either on the hiking path or on the forestry road to the Mooslehenalm. Here you can also taste delicacies. Then you hike down to the Sendeanlage Holzlehen (Himmelsknoten), which was also the start point of the tour.

You go by car or hiking taxi on the Schiedweg to the parking possibility at the Sendeanlage Holzlehen (Himmelsknoten).Then you hike along the forestry road (no. 31/32A) towards Igltalalm. After the rock, you turn left and take the forestry road no. 32A to the Viehhausalm, 1,640 m (approx. 1 1/4 h).
You hike down on the hiking path no. 32 to the Mooslehenalm, 1,449 m (approx. 3/4 h). Then, descent along the forestry road no. 31 to the starting point of the tour.
