This mountain tour starts in Ellmautal at the parking space Grund. You hike up on an path first through the forest then through meadows to the Ellmaualm. You pass the Grossellmau-Heimalm, which is closed.

At the Ellmaualm, you can taste self-made delicacies such as bread, butter, cheese, sausages or bacon. There is a playground for the children.

You continue along the Salzburger Almenweg to the Henerbichlalm (closed). Further, you hike up to the Trögseen. These are small but particularly beautiful mountain lakes, where you cool down yourself a bit.

You hike back on the same route to the Ellmaualm.

Author’s recommendation

The area around the Trögseen is particularly beautiful at sunsets. Then you could stay overnight on the Ellmaualm.

Sehr schöne Tour- trotz schlechten Wetters lohnenswert.
