From the Mandldorf, you can either hike along the hiking path or you take the forestry road in the direction to the Aigenalmen. The forestry road is also suitable for children's carriages.

You hike steadily upwards through the forest. The Aigenalm Chapel is definitely worth a visit. After a small hunting lodge you have to decide which mountain hut you prefer. The lower one is the Aigenalm-Paulhütte. Here, besides a snack with self-made delicacies, there are also a few hot dishes. You should definitively try the Kaiserschmarrn.Just 15 min away is the Aigenalm-Mandlhütte. Here, too, you are spoiled with delicacies from their own production. Children prefer to play on the little brook. Of course both mountain huts can be combined with each other.

You hike up to the Pucher and further to the Schmalzscharte. From here, you have a great view to the Frauenkogel.

You descend to the Rastötzenalm, where you are spoiled with delicacies. You hike further to the Annen Chapel and then along a beautiful hiking path to Bad Hofgastein. You go back to Grossarl by public transport.
