Grossarl: Maurachalm
The starting point of this tour is the Sonneggbrücke in Grossarl. You hike along the forestry road to the Muggenfeldalm (closed) and to the Maurachalm. You can also take the short-cuts through the forest.
The Maurachalm is the most northern mountain hut within Grossarltal. Up there, you are spoiled with self-made delicacies like bread, butter, cheese, bacon or sausages. They produce especially good schnapps and sometimes the people on the mountain hut sing and play music.
