You hike on the forestry road or along the short-cuts through the forest to the Loosbühelalm. After it was burnt down, the Loosbühelalm was rebuilt during winter 2010-2011. If you like goat's cheese and goat's milk, you are right at the Loosbühelalm. Because there are beside lots of other self-made delicacies, you should definitively try the goat's cheese. The children are at the playground in the meanwhile.
You can also stay overnight on the Loosbühelalm (approx. 30 people). And you can go by car directly to this mountain hut.

You go by car or public bus no. 541 into the Ellmautal to the parking space Grund. You hike either along the forestry road (no. 60) or the short-cuts through the forest to the Loosbühelalm, 1,769 m (approx. 1 1/4 h). Back on the same route.
By road
You go by car or public bus no. 540 to Grossarl and you turn left between the Hotel Alte Post and the Spar to the Ellmautal to Grund.Parking
