The hiking tour starts at the valleyhead of the Ellmautal at Grund. Along a hiking path you come to the Filzmoosalm. This hut is situated in the intact nature. Between some cliffy mountains there are lots of alpine meadows. You can get self-made delicacies like bread, butter, cheese or bacon on the Filzmoosalm. Back on the same route.

Wir sind mit unserem Kind (fast 4 Jahre alt) über den alten Hüttensteig hinauf. Die vielen Eindrücke waren für das Kind sehr spannend: es gab immer Neues zu entdecken. So entschwand die Kleine immer wieder. Zwischendurch auf dem Stück Fahrweg war es für sie langweiliger und sie wollte auf den Arm. Die letzten Meter über den alten Weg, vorbei an einem Kunstprojekt einer lokalen Schule, waren wieder sehr spannend. Die Alm bietet sehr viele Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und ein umfangreiches Angebot an lokalen Speisen. Die Lage unterhalb von Draugstein und Filzmooshörndl ist sehr schön.
