You hike from the Sonneggbrücke along the forestry road or the shortcuts through the forest to the Breitenebenalm. Just before you reach the Breitenebenalm, there is a game reserve. The Breitenebenalm is particularly popular for its sweets. You can enjoy them on the huge terrace. There is a playground for the children.

First, you hike along the hiking path, then along the forestry road to the Grosswildalm. On this mountain hut you should try their self-made delicacies.

You continue and pass the Kleinwildalm and the Spatalm (both closed). You hike through beautiful alpine meadows to the Saukaralm. This mountain hut is the highest mountain hut in Grossarltal. There the view and the panorama are really awesome. You can see the Hohe Tauern, the Hochkönig and the Tennen- and Hagengebirge.

Descent on the forestry road to the starting point of the tour.
